New Beginnings

A dear friend asked me to paint something for her, and I tried to create it based on her description. However, the painting turned out to be a failure. I later realized that I was trying to be the artist instead of letting God guide me as his paintbrush. After I surrendered my control and let God take over, the process became a beautiful and amazing experience. I don't even remember how I blended the colors or what brushes I used. One day, I looked down at the finished painting, and it was exactly what my friend had envisioned. Love you Aunt Sally!
